The Fifth Pinnacle and Challenge
Author: Velga Ekure
In numerological forecasting, there are indicators called Pinnacles and Challenges, which divide a person's life into four stages: childhood and youth; growth; maturity; and late life, or old age.
Over the last two centuries, human life expectancy has increased noticeably, almost doubling. Opportunities to live a full life have also grown. An analysis of the lives of notable people found that, for some time now, life has included five Pinnacle and Challenge periods.
Calculation and Explanation
1st Pinnacle is the reduced single-digit number or master number obtained by adding the birth day ("I") and month (family, lineage). It shows how a person's "I" understands, accepts or rejects the tasks and traditions of their family and lineage, and how these can foster the development of the "I".
2nd Pinnacle is the reduced number obtained by adding the birth day and year (the society of the relevant era). It represents the "I" and society: how to fit into a wider circle, what opportunities are available and how to use them.
3rd Pinnacle = 1st Pinnacle + 2nd Pinnacle. It is a synthesis of the "I", the family line and society. In previous centuries, most people's lives ended during this period.
4th Pinnacle is the reduced number obtained by adding the birth month and year. Development continues at a new quality and level.
5th Pinnacle = 3rd Pinnacle + 4th Pinnacle. It represents the opportunities that come with a person's experience and wisdom.
The calculation of Challenges for the stages of life follows a similar sequence:
- 1st Challenge: subtract the birth month number from the birth day.
- 2nd Challenge: subtract the birth year from the birth day.
- 3rd Challenge: 1st Challenge minus 2nd Challenge.
- 4th Challenge: birth month minus birth year.
- 5th Challenge: 3rd Challenge minus 4th Challenge.
Examples
Rainis
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pinnacles | 11/2 | 4 | 6 | 11/2 | 8 |
| Challenges | 2 | 9 | 7 | 7 | 0 |
Age markers shown in the source: 32, 41, 50 and 59.
At age 32, Rainis was arrested and charged with anti-state activity. From 1906, at age 41, he lived in exile, where he wrote his greatest plays, which are still staged today. He returned to Latvia in 1920, at age 55, as a beloved poet. He was elected to three Saeimas, headed the National Theatre and served as Minister of Education. In the final stage of his life, he also received the Order of the Three Stars and died at the age of 64.
President Andris Bērziņš
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pinnacles | 4 | 1 | 5 | 3 | 8 |
| Challenges | 2 | 8 | 6 | 6 | 0 |
Age markers shown in the source: 32, 41, 50 and 59.
The first period includes military service, his first studies and work; during the second stage, he rises to the position of director. The third stage, with the 5th Pinnacle, brings unpredictable changes, new interests and opportunities to take part in public processes, to experiment and to learn. In Andris Bērziņš's case, these included further studies, the post of deputy minister of the Latvian SSR, the Supreme Council and the vote on Latvia's independence. The fourth stage brings optimism about life's many possibilities. The final Pinnacle marks his return to politics: at age 66 he was elected president, received several orders and enjoyed the fruits of being a millionaire.
